About Lauren
Educator. Leader. Advocate.
With over 19 years of experience as an educator and leader, I am deeply committed to the success of our schools and students. I have worked within the Rockingham County Public Schools system and have lived in this community for 20 years. As a former single mother who put herself through school to become a nurse, I understand the value of perseverance, hard work, and quality education.
Throughout my career, I have managed budgets, led teams, and overseen programs, giving me the skills to make informed, responsible decisions. I have served on local, state, and national committees and boards, gaining extensive experience in regulatory, accreditation, and educational matters. I am ready to bring my knowledge and leadership to the school board to ensure our schools remain strong, well-managed, and focused on student success.
